You claim that content is 2257 compliant?

Based on your site, it's clear that you don't know what 2257 compliance is.

you know, content sites not accepting credit cards is probably hurting their business. I do not have epassport so if a place does not make it easy for me to buy, I move on.

Unfortunately, I've already found quite a few non-compliant producers/sellers. I'm giving chances to produce complete docs or refund/trade before I start ousting. :disgust

A few years ago I posted a list of producers and showed who's sites were compliant and who's were not at the time. I also put in links to the compliant sites. For some reason, that pissed A LOT of people off. There were a few who became compliant and contacted me to update the list.

The list is probably not accurate these days and I'm sure it's missing a lot of companies.

What cracks me up is seeing people say their content is compliant when their own site is not. If you don't care enough about yourself to be compliant then how in the hell can your customers believe you care about them?

why, he's not in the US he doesn't have to make his site 2257 compliant? as long as the docs he provides are, it's all good,, or am I missing something else.

I claim that content I sell, supplied with 2257 compliant documents (2 IDs and signed Model Release).

But, maybe I do something wrong, advices are appreciated!

I know, that credit card fraud costs you lost time, great inconvenience, and money. If you really want to buy content as a webmaster - you will contact with the seller first, as usually webmasters do.

Since I opened my merchant account in 2001, I've only had 1 fraudulent content purchase with a credit card. Although most of my payments since 2004 are now wire transfers, I still process credit cards as needed.

Webmasters prefer automated systems that are easy to purchase with. They do not prefer to contact anybody unless they have some unanswered questions....Something like: "I notice your site is not 2257 compliant. Why should I trust that your content is?"

My guess is that's why so many people don't process with credit cards these days. They are afraid of charge backs over non-compliant content.

It's only your guess.
If I don't accept credit cards, it doesn't mean that I can not add this as a payment option. I just don't trust CCs.

What about webmasters... I sell content for less than 1 year, but I know for sure, that if webmaster really want to buy content from you, he will not say "Goodbye! You don't have CC payment!"

100% totally agree with you on this. Also, good list you have there and yea it's definitely not updated as I'm finding several sites 404 or non-existent. But, good nonetheless.
