DVD Tube spam outnumbering Viagra & Replica Watches?
How long before they get sued?
Shit is getting ridiculous... I received over 100+ emails just today promoting that site. Each email clearly violated the: Adult Labeling Rule requirements, clear and conspicuous opt-out mechanism, email address spoofing, and postal address requirements. >>> While the defendants did not send e-mail directly to consumers, they operated ?affiliate marketing? programs in which they paid others to send spam on their behalf. Under the CAN-SPAM Act, the defendants are liable for the illegal spam sent by their affiliates because the defendants ?initiated? the e-mail by paying others to send it on their behalf. |
I get about 30/day. I thought about reporting them to PlatinumBucks but I know they won't do a thing about it
|
yup, i get tons of them too
|
According to whois its all coming from a big spam group in Belgium. The same group that sends a lot of the "cheap software" spam...
|
I got them too. Tons yesterday -- all to the same email address.

I've been deluged with penis extenders (200+/day) and some dating stuff, but I've never seen anything advertising DVDs.
|
Also, what's with spammers sending the same thing to you repeatedly? Do they think if you see it 20 times that you'll break and buy it?
Ironic that when you do the spam still keeps coming... |
