'The Donald' now appears in the newest Mickey D's commercial.

What I want to know is the happenings that occured behind executive mahogony desks resulting in the creation of this visible coupling.

I'm very curious what kind of partnership is born of this advertising union...

Him buying a lot of franchises and throwing them into hotels...Or maybe he's going broke and needed the money :winkwink:

So why the commercial gig? Doubt he needs the money, think he's planning another shot at the White House?

I was wondering what inspired that deal myself. I seriously doubt Mr. Trump needs the money. My only guess is that he is a major investor in McDonalds and simply having him in an ad or two is enough to boost sales and therefore boost his wealth.

Might be doing a favor for a friend.

He also did a commerical for Pizza Hut a few years ago where he was fighting over the last piece of pizza his ex wife Ivana, they eventually split it.

I once made a little more than 30K for 4 days worth of work. He would no doubt just get a buy out. I know for a fact Brad Pitt got a cool 2 mil for a 30 second spot in Japan ( I worked on the commercial). He was on set for 1 day.

Unfortunately jobs like that are far and few inbetween (for me). For the Don himself, he probably partnered with the corporation and as a marketing campaign did some promos for it.
