I asked to close my account and send a ticket on 9/29/02
Please note that I asked to close my account to make sure not to bill my credit card the next month. I was expecting this kind of problem, so I called my bank, told them I lost my credit card (I wanted a new card for the internet anyway). They canceled the old one and issued a new number. Smart move on your part. Someone posted recently (I forget who) that he had been billed for several months after having asked them to shut down his service.
