National Net, Isprime or Phatservers?

Hello guys

I need a new host for a 5 MBPS and I'm looking for the best company with those criteria:

Frist the support need to be really good who mean that the guys know their stuff. I saw so much host with support who dosen't worth anything. They can have one guy who know their shit but that guy is in the office like 15-20 hours by week.

Second I need a secure server and a team who know how to secure it.

In the end I need top notch support so who can give me that with those 3 company?

Thanks guys

NationalNet or MojoHost.

Hey rockbear,

I'm with www.RealityCheckNetwork.com - although we're no ISPrime, NatNet, PhatServers, but we compete at the very same level.

We provide highly managed services for all of our customers.

We have a large staff that is knowledgeable and can help you any time of day. Additionally we employ an active monitoring system - this alerts our staff within 1minute of a service problem. No more having to wake up at 3AM to respond to alerts we're already on top of it.

We have a specific security team that handles intrusion and server hardening allowing us to minimize security breaches and better understand the attack vector. What we learn from one customer we pass on to the rest in terms of security and performance optimization.

Contact me on ICQ: 4930562 so I can give you some direct references.

I would have gone with ISPRIME!

donnie 02-11-2008 08:52 AM

I am hosting with all 3 of them and while Phatservers are a GREAT company I wouldn?t really put them in the same category as Isprime and NatNet.

If price is an issue Phatservers are great but if you are willing to pay more and have first class support Isprime and NatNet are the only option :2 cents:

rockbear 02-11-2008 09:01 AM

Donnie can I talk to you by icq or email?

Please continu to give me your story and a Big thank you guys

Rochard 02-11-2008 09:02 AM

Next question please.

ISPrime have incredible attention to detail and the best support I have ever witnessed in my time in this business. All the guys there are brilliant.

u-Bob 02-11-2008 09:17 AM

Phatservers or Mojohost.

pornask 02-11-2008 09:20 AM

I'm hosting with mojohost and could not be happier. Would not hesitate to recommend those guys any time.

NatNet do have insane reputation though. Don't they host entire Rogers (Canadian internet and wireless communication services) network (or am I getting it moxed)?

Toni 02-11-2008 09:48 AM

Flying Croc

Brad Mitchell 02-11-2008 10:06 AM

As per your initial question if you are choosing between those companies I would recommend National Net. If you are open to searching outside of those options, I recommend a solution from MojoHost.

Cheers,

Brad

You listed the best 3 hosts in this industry.

Don't be baited by all the hosting reps who will swarm this thread, if you need quality you can safely go with either of those 3.. all are absolutely rock solid and air tight.

NatNet hands down when it comes to support quality between those 3.

Out of your 3 choices I would say natnet, but if you are open to a better suggestion i would say TechieMedia by far will be a better overall choice. Better pricing, and far superior support.:2 cents::2 cents:

webair 02-11-2008 11:31 AM

Good luck with your decision! 3 great companies to choose from there....if you decide to add to that list contact me we would love to work with you!

Sly 02-11-2008 12:42 PM

I would love to talk to you about your specific needs and create a solution that works best for you. Although I think I may have already today? Otherwise if you have a free minute, please send me an ICQ at 147479144 and I can show you what Phat Servers can do for you.

I've heard nothing but good things about the 3 companies you mentioned in the thread title.

I use Techie Media, and the support and network are 2nd to none.

You're on the right track with trying to find a quality company rather than just price shopping though.

Rick Ross 02-11-2008 01:39 PM

Go with the host that didn't try to pitch you on this forum. GFY is like a fucking pop up hell. READ you fools he asked NatNet, ISPRIME or Phatservers why are all these cheesy reps on the board trying to sell their shit?

Rockbear IMHO stick with the original 3. Pick the one that's right for you.

If you need support for complex issues I suggest ISPrime.
It may cost a little bit more than the other places but Im a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

Premium Bandwith, great network, and the tech support is very solid.

Azlord 02-13-2008 02:07 AM

How come SwiftWill isn't on your list? Tops in security and their team knows their shit.

Gaybucks 02-13-2008 02:11 AM

We've been with about a dozen ISPs over the past 7 years. (We generally keep at least two at a time so we have redundancy in case one suddenly takes a dump, which has happened to us more than once.)

Everyone always said that NationalNet had better service than any other provider and I was like "yeah, yeah, I'm sure it's excellent."

Then we tried them.

There is simply no other host we've ever been with -- or ever heard of -- that competes with the level of service, quality, expertise, and reliability you will get from National Net. I think they grossly undersell themselves, but when a regular host says it's "full service" or "fully managed", they have NO CLUE what "fully managed" really means. National Net gets it.

Anything I request, any time of day or night, the ticket is responded to within 3 to 5 minutes, tops. Phonecalls are ALWAYS answered within 3 rings. Most issues are totally resolved within 5 to 15 minutes. The most complex issue we ever had -- asking for something nonstandard that they hadn't done before -- took about 6 hours, only because I called at 3am and they asked if they could wait till management got in (or should they wake them.)

We just took advantage of their recent price match sale to move our other servers with other providers over to NatNet.

Now, having been with them for about 8 months, I really can't imagine being with any other host.
