...to get Bin Laden before his administration ends. At least that is what was just stated on C-Span. Did anyone catch this on the main stream news?

What would give you cause to believe that? It would have been a feather in the cap to have captured/killed Bin Laden at any point in time.

That was then...do you have anything current to add. BTW the person that made the statement on C-Span was a women (who's name I have already forgotten) that was being interviewed. She used to work for the Attorney General...the FBI...the CIA and the NSC and was an advisor to the President. She did not say when the directive was issued but referred to it when the interviewer stated that one of McCain's promises/talking points is that he WILL get Bin Laden. She responded with the statement that the President has issued a directive to the pertinent agencys to get Bin Laden before the end of his administration. So the directive may have been out there for a while or it could be a fairly recent directive...but non the less I do not recall seeing it...recent or otherwise...in the mainstream news.

Not only will he get caught,.. he's ALREADY caught. They're gonna hold him and just when the time is right they'll use his capture and death (which will be swift) to gain favor for the republicans.

But it can also be used to clean up his name a bit, and I happen to think it might happen that way as well.

To improve his image for historical purposes...is undoubtedly why he would have issued a directive...hoping that he may be caught before he leaves office...not because they already have him...as there then would not be a need for a directive to catch him.

Well...either the media has already reported on this story or has not picked up on the C-Span interview...as I did not see it reported today.

"He is already caught". There have been people saying that since 2002. There have been much more opportune times to reveal such a thing for political motives. Like before the last election.
