TGP Scripts... Opinions please...

Im down with TGPX ...

Im just wondering if there is anything considered superior or just favored ..

TGPX .. Comus...

what else?

Darkhorse 02-09-2008 11:10 PM

Only one I use is www.smart-scripts.com (Smart Thumbs), I haven't tried tgpx yet but I do like JMBsofts work...

Mark_E4A 02-09-2008 11:11 PM

I use the JMB tgp rotator on many sites and love it.

Changed over two sites using brownie to vanilla tgp and so far I'm very impressed! It has quite a few advanced features :)

cool, I haven't tried them out..yet at least lol

I think Comus offers a bit more options especially if accepting submissions as it has a great scan feature to help keep out the redirects and cheaters. Smart Thumbs is good but if you take submissions, then it sucks cause it doesn't have a good scan system to find cheats.

submissions wont be a huge issue, it will be played with but not going to be open full time or whatever...

Vanilla also has a nice integrated advertising system (banner management/paid spots), which is pretty cool

Doug E 02-10-2008 01:02 AM

Can't beat Vanillas new V2.

I'm satisfied with tgpx (managing 12 separate sites on same server), click tracking yes, traffic trading no.. a few days ago I saw smartthumbs admin area on my friends site, does look impressive, but one install = one site..

Thank you for the info.
I've been looking for a new tgp script for a while.
Checked out smart-thumbs, but their free version was all messed up.

I am trying out vanilla tgp now, and it looks quite good so far.

Our free version was all messed up?.. the free version is 100% the same as the paid version except for the skim..

Godsmack 02-10-2008 05:45 AM

try our Smartthumbs.. it runs on over 10.000 sites and this amount is growing real fast..

If you want ease of use, high prod sites a 430k gallery db that is updated every single day, banner rotator, multi site than Smartthumbs has it all..

No, we do not have a build in trade script, we leave that to the expert (ATX)

jaysmoke 02-10-2008 06:07 AM

Is it possible to see some example sites using Vanilla ??

Marco Porno 02-10-2008 10:19 AM

I use tgpx and I am loving it!

candyflip 02-10-2008 10:34 AM

If you want to check out SmartThumbs, let me know. I've got a license I can let go cheap.

TGP skimmers

I've followed this post and looked at the TGPs mentioned. It appears that only Comus and Smart Thumbs offer a free version that skims. Is this true? If so, what are the main differences between them? I don't see any major differences from looking at their demos.

BTW: I'm interested in a free version first in order to get my feet wet with TGPs.
