It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Clinton has almost twice the number of superdelegates. Nearly half of the 796 delegates have voted (though they can change their vote at any time) so either of them can pick up a couple hundred votes. It seems Clinton has the advantage as far as superdelegates is concerned because she more connected with those already in politics: "[Superdelegates] include elected officials, such as Democratic governors and members of Congress, as well as Democratic Party officers and other notables--members of the Democratic National Committee, state party chairs, big-city mayors, former Presidents & Vice-Presidents, and so on."

To confuse the process even more, most Superdelegates are allowed to change their minds despite what's pledged so far. Nobody is going to want to be on the wrong side, so (unless there's some prior agreement to vote with your state or something like that) expect a big shift near the end by all the opportunists.

The Dems would be fools to not have Obama as the candidate. His campaign is now a full blown movement that hasn't been seen since Kennedy.

The latest poll has him beating McCain by 9 points, that is only going to grow. Clinton is even with him in the polls, that means a loss in Nov. as she has way too many negatives.

This country needs a drastic change, and he is it. We are at a fork in the road and if we go the wrong way we are fucked.

Obama has been in the senate long enough to know how fucked up things are, but not long enough to be bought already. Clinton and McCain are bought and sold many time over.

We need someone brilliant to clean up the idiots mess and he is it people.

You must be looking in the mirror. I would love to see the debate between a 71 year old has been, and a young, bright, up and coming constitutional attorney. Obama will eat McCain for lunch.

What did McCain say the other week? I don't really know about the economy, but I am reading a book about it. Great, we are getting fucked while he is figuring things out. Brilliant.:thumbsup
