Lil Jon was wasted.

Don Magic Juan came and had a blast with us.

Good times.

I didn't have the nicest pimp cup this time. We had a 3 way tie.

I got tired early and left, I'm glad I didnt tough it out because I was not aware that Lil Jon was not performing aside from his DJ shiz.. I would have been disappointed if I stayed.. No Offense D, you know I have mad love.. but you know you should've had him do a 3-4 song set at least on the mic..

Lil Jon still did his trademarked lines on the mic all night, so it's still sort of the same. He just mixed his stuff with lot's or rock, 80's and current rap.

If I could get Dr. Dre to DJ my gig, I'd do that too. They're both incredible producers, so I give them more respect on their musical choices then I would a normal rapper. They can actually make a song from stratch in 5 minutes that can become a club banger #1 hit. So I trust their taste in music.

And it was cool because Lil Jon played to the white crowd and hip hop crowd. He knows his audience.

Also, he's been turning down concert gigs so he can do his DJ'ing at super hot clubs and exclusive parties. He loves doing it.

Judging by how quickly that floor filled up with people dancing, including white guys that were not "wiggers" I would have to say, yeah.

I even found myself bouncing with the tunes a little at times.

baddog 02-10-2008 12:47 AM

Okay, I just went thru some pics of that night, and I just had to put one up, but it takes three to appreciate.

YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!

I was surprised he mixed it up the way he did. I never saw that one coming.

People were asking me all night when Lil Jon was going on. You'd never guess that he was the DJ if you were just listening to the tunes. Even while people were looking right at him, they'd ask me where Lil Jon is.

Gotta admit, I got my kicks off that! Funny shit. I fooled the white man.

Who was the real black guy (gray shirt, black sweater, shades) with the tall good looking black chick (bright orange dress)?

I only know one Outkast song, and you can thank Charlie Brown for that.

D-Money 02-10-2008 01:13 AM

More on Sleepy Brown, you might recognize some of his stuff.
