FACT: Clinton and Obama will not be on the same ticket

Not a chance in hell.

He won't pick her if he wins the nomination. He's going to pick a white man with alot of foreign policy experience. (Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, Jim Webb, etc)

If she wins the nomination and asks him to be VP he'll say no. There's no way he's hitching up to that wagon.

After Hillary unites the republican party and McCain wins, Obama will run again in 4 years when President McCain is 77 years old.

In other words he will avoid the "Colin Powell syndrome".

Good analysis.

yeah right, once you tasted almost being there, there is no going back:2 cents:

I think a homeless bum could run on the democratic ticket and beat the republicans this time around. If the vote was to happen right now you couldn't add up all the republicans to beat either democrat.

Sounds like a likely scenario if McCain doesn't keel over while in office.

I always thought she would never be the VP. She is too old. If Obama was pres and severed 2 terms she would be in 68-69 years old and I doubt she would want to run then.

On the other hand Obama doesn't have a lot to lose by taking the VP offer. If they win and she serves 2 terms and he is right in line to get the office. If they lose he can run again in 4 years. It they win an she only serves one term then he could run again 4 years later. If he passes he may end up having to wait 8 full years before he runs again.

I would say at this point in the race the only FACT is that if you put the word FACT in front of any statement, you are just guessing.

Hillary will pick Richardson to be VP. She's already popular with hispanics, Richardson makes sure they stay that way.

Obama might pick Edwards. Got to balance things out with a white guy. Also two tall young attractive guys on the dems side vs McCain/Huckabee. It's a sinch who wins. Huckabee is the same age as Edwards but you couldn't tell it.

If not Edwards maybe Biden. Biden comes off as a guy who could take over if it was necessary. And should easily beat Huckabee in a VP debate

When Dole ran he always said he'd serve only one term if he won. I suspect McCain will do the same. He won't say that now. If he wins I think in early 2011 he'll anounce he's not running again to give the GOP time to hunt up candidates for 2012.

That's assuming that Hillary doesn't do a fucked up job like Bush.

Look at Colin Powell!

He was a sure bet for president until he followed Bush.
Powell would have beat the crap out of Mccain in the republican
primary and would have trounced Hillary and Obama combined in the election.

Drake 02-08-2008 09:24 PM

I think you're right

GatorB 02-08-2008 09:27 PM

Why would Obama wnat to be Hilalry's VP when you know he's not to get to do shit because Bill will be there in the abckground. It will be like JFK and RFK all over again. If JFK never got shot no one would even remember LBJ. He'd be just a footnote in history he'd just be a VP that didn't get to do shit in office.
