I think there is a reason why no adult designers can do that : cause there is no demand.... or not enough

Well I checked out the AVP thing in the portfolio and all I got was a big empty cylinder and two predators floating around .. not sure what the point of that was or did I miss something?

Still, very impressive work, but probably over most people's budget

That's amazing. I found the toolbox, "top secret" folder, etc very ... D&D style, but other than that the site is just breathtaking.

Good looking site... and yes I could honestly design that. That is a much easier design to create than what 2advanced.com produced.

The graphics are built in a 3d program and moved over to flash, with most of the animations already being done they only had to take out some frames and polish a few others off. It's no different than what debauer does to create his crazy effects and is the reason it takes so long to load every time you move around.

Really, if you can draw by hand and color in photoshop, and know how to apply simple animations in flash, you can do this too. Not to knock the guys work, it's still good work.. But don't let drawings with flash added to them fool ya.

We want our sites and tours to pull people in as soon as possible. Sites like those shown would be far too distracting and im sure result in little if any sales. Im not willing to sink $20,000 in a test site to find out, are you ? :2 cents:

No telling how much something on the lines of that would cost to have built.

It's art and beautiful, but the question is if it's good web design. For example, check out the madeinitaly site in the portfolio. Because of its fixed size it's hard to navigate when the browser window size is smaller.

A site like 2advanced is 20k, for your affiliate program, I got a quote once. A site like the one posted is about a 40 hour project, probably less.. More like 5-10k to create. This is for porn sites of course, not a portfolio site.
