When Bush Is Finally Gone....

There's gonna be a serious fucking party. The stockmarket will soar the day he leaves!

Do you think high profile people and celebs will then have the balls to speak out about what a crap president he has been? I reckon he's a serious contender for "the worst ever president of the USA".

Anyone disagree with me? :1orglaugh

jollyperv 02-08-2008 10:59 AM

Who knows, but this country is pretty much at rock bottom right now, only way to go is up!

bobby666 02-08-2008 11:44 AM

we are all looking for the day whe he's gone

StuartD 02-08-2008 11:46 AM

that day? I doubt it.
Wounds don't heal that fast.

D Ghost 02-08-2008 11:49 AM

things will be better

notoldschool 02-08-2008 11:51 AM

things will get worse when Mccain takes over. When that happens watch the nation to start heading twords a depression era. People will wake up a little too late.

Jimmy Carter will always be the worst. No chance that any one will ever be that bad.

Recession 2008 / 2009?

WallStreetJournal: "Over the past half century, every U.S. housing downturn as sharp as the current one has translated into a U.S. recession. U.S. house prices are falling at an annual rate of nearly 4% -- an event not seen since the Great Depression -- and the downward trend is accelerating."

DirtyProfits 02-08-2008 12:07 PM

"The biggest investment bank on Wall Street has a grim prediction about 2008: a recession is definitely on the way." (Goldman Sachs)

Sure but my impression was that some people would not like to speak out against the A number 1, big man till he's gone.

you can kiss porn goodbye if hillary comes to control.

McCain = extension of Bush policies... as far as I can tell, whether it's McCain, Obama or Clinton, the USA's pretty much fuct. Time to pick somebody else, once the American people finally wake the fuck up....

IllTestYourGirls 02-08-2008 03:52 PM

Bush = Clinton = McCain = Obama... we are screwed no matter what we do. There is little difference in policies. We will still be borrowing from China and printing dollars praying that opec does not shut off our oil.

Things will get even worse. Who's to say the next Pres isn't Bush x 10000? I think it's almost time to just get rid of our existing political systems and implement new ones for our future.

What would there be to debate...as I recall...he won by several million votes or at the least by a wide margin.

And what point would that be?

Voodoo 02-08-2008 05:13 PM

BTW, if you remember correctly, Bush didn't win at all. The entire thing was rigged.

How did you obtain proof that it was rigged? If I were you I would turn over the proof that you have to the Speaker of the House and a few others...as they would be very pleased to have the proof. If of course you do not have proof you are just speaking out of your ass...now aren't you?

CheneyRumsfeld 02-08-2008 05:32 PM

Bush will NEVER be gone. he was never elected right.

Elected by the Electorial College the first time and reelected by the Electorial College and the popular vote the second time...so no you are wrong.

that the most popular candidate or the one who gets the most votes from the people does not always win in the end. So its not the peoples fault as aico previously stated.

Penthouse Tony 02-08-2008 06:07 PM

Not much would change

Quote:

5. Voters want serious change.

Pundits love telling us that voters are "fed up" with politics as usual. Candidates follow suit, insisting that -- unlike their competition -- they're really listening to the American people.

Nonsense. Public opinion data strongly confirm that the status quo is popular. All the big components of the federal budget enjoy broad support. When asked whether government should do less of something, more of something or stick with the status quo, the average American almost always sticks with what he has.

The only iron-clad counter-example is foreign aid. Most Americans have wanted less of it for decades. But since foreign aid is about 1 percent of the federal budget, we can safely call it the exception that proves the rule.

Surely Americans want serious change on Iraq, you say? True, about 60 percent of Americans now say that the war was a mistake. But given the available options, voters are still getting what they want. If Iraq were a stable and enthusiastic ally, we'd like to leave today, but that's not on the menu. Most Americans now favor a timetable for withdrawal, but how many would want to stick to a schedule if that meant handing Iraq over to radical Islamists? In a few years, the majority may be ready for "peace at any price" -- but not yet.

As the humorist Josh Billings once observed, "The trouble with people is not that they don't know but that they know so much that ain't so."

In other words we don't elect presidents by popular vote but through the Electoral College. Making your original point moot.

You think the US economy is bad now? Just wait until the next president - either McLame, Shrillary or Obambi - sign the US on to the Kyoto trainwreck. Then the US will be really fucked.

Really.

Rolling Stone commissioned a recount of the Ohio vote and it is clear that the Republicans stole Ohio.

Bush was not elected with the popular vote in either election.

And, incidentally, if not for the 5 GOP members of the Supreme court, there would have never been a "Bush reelection."

Brutal
