I fear the government...
 

...but I fear private enterprise more.

Can the anti-government GFYers please explain to me why I should bow down at the altar of private enterprise? Why should private companies, who only care about how much revenue they can suck out of you, be trusted? What have they ever done to earn trust? When has a private company EVER done the right thing of its own volition and not been forced to by the government (or the public after bad publicity)?

Governments are answerable to the people at the ballot box, private enterprise is not.

Why should private enterprise be trusted?
