Tell me about Arizona
Hot spots? What stuff is there to do?
|
It depends on what you like to do. Up north there are forest with all kinds of camping and hiking like Sedona or Flagstaff, or stay in the city and hit up the bars and clubs. There's historical kind of shit in Tombstone and Jerome, or a hippie town called Bisbee is pretty nice too.
Plus, spring training is starting up soon so you can catch one of a bunch of teams that play out here. So there's a lot to do, just depending on what your interests are. |
118 degrees in the summer

Hot and full of cowboys. I have seen movies I know this stuff.

These were serious questions from these people. I just laughed and told her that it's all good except when the cowboys bring in the cattle from off the trail down mainstreet to be sold. Some peoples kids. :Oh crap |
Arizona is a playground for pornographers driving 218 mph Lambos.

There is plenty to do in Arizona and as our population grows so do all of the venues for entertainment.
There are fantastic restaurants and decent enough night life, all depending on your particular taste. Scottsdale being the most similar to L.A. type non sense. The chicks here are hot! Probably because it's so damn hot and clothes are minimal in the Summer, people tend to be in nice shape & care about their appearance. If you can get past the 3 months of scorching heat in June, July, and August then the rest of the year you will enjoy pretty decent, if not beautiful weather. And you are always only a couple hour drive to a different climate if you need a change. You can head up North. Pretty much 80% of people in AZ are not from AZ, therefor there are many different driving styles & the drivers stink. Since it hardly ever rains, when it does it is a total cluster fuck of retards on the road and every year an idiot drives into a flooded area & has to be rescued while standing on top of his car. As more and more people move here the traffic is starting to become a bit shitty but it's still pretty much kept to the rush hours and not an all day thing yet like it is in L.A. Everything is very spread out. There are several big, little cities if that makes any sense at all. I have lived in AZ all my life. In my opinion the only thing we lack is an ocean. (and a decent NFL team ;) ) I love it here. I assume that there is a reason so many folks are moving in! Hope that helps. |

Arizona really is a beautiful state if you can stand the heat. I agree with Sarah all that we lack is a beach and I could careless about the NFL team. LMAO!
What part of AZ are you planning to visit? I too am a native Arizonan and could not imagine living anywhere else. Our summer monsoons are incredible if you've never experienced them. Cheers from AZ :) |

I would also add that if you're not in school or raising a family, AZ is probably one of the more boring places to live. |
I like Arizona because I like my guns. Right to carry. And my dog seems to like it out here. It's affordable. I don't mind the heat.
