Ugh, $180,000 in those amplifiers alone. (not counting the Mark Levinson and Crown amps)

For 6 mil you would think it would look nice .. i'm sure the equipment it top notch but the room looks like shit. if i'm spending the money i want to hear the difference i can care less about seeing it.

He uses a pro grade Sony digital projector that costs around $120,000. A replacement lens for it costs about $17,000.

you could build your own film projection/screening room for a fraction of that price - problem is getting access to the film prints and learning how to work the projector.
