I just booked a room through Priceline in LA
At the Intercontinental Los Angeles Century City. Is that a good place?
Not that it matters now since I can't get a refund, but I'd like to know what I am getting myself into. |
How much did you pay? That will be a good indication of your expected experience.

Damn, if the rooms are $350 a night it probably is a nice place...

Century City is nice. Right next to Beverly Hills

It is a very nice area .... and safe with office towers and underground shopping malls. I personnaly prefer staying either on Sunset Blvd or on the beach ( Santa Monica ).
You got a pretty good deal :2 cents: |

Priceline actually works pretty well... I needed a room in Austin last Sunday and everything on Orbitz was $150-$250. I bid $100 for a 4-Star room and got accepted at the Omni, which is one of the nicest hotels in the city. The room rate would have been around $250 if I had booked it on Orbitz.
