Strange 'tricks' your dogs do

Over the last week my two year old spaniel, Maggie, has figure out how to push the button on my cd-drive and open it. She has messed up a couple game playing moments by doing that. She is doing it all the time now.

Can your dogs do anything strange?

My dog can poke a tiny hole in a balloon and suck all the air out without popping it. He does this with every one we give him. Weirdo.

My dog is a smart ass, he does tons of things. When I put him in the kitchen, sometimes I hear him in my living room. He opens the door sometimes, dunno how he does it. He is also very good at hiding things and stealing socks. Even if there are no socks lying around, he'll just appear one day with a sock in his mouth.

My spaniel is a sock hound too. I don't know where she gets them from but if I turn around she is probably wrestling a dirty sock (they have to be dirty or she won't bother) on the couch.

It's not so much of a trick but my dog likes to sit his ass on the edge of the chair with his back feet just off the floor.

My dogs like to work me for dog treats. They come to my room like they want to go outside.. so I get up to let them..they both are behind me herding me with their noses. We get to the fridge (I keep the bisquits on top) and they stop..no going outside.. they just stare at the top of the fridge then bark at me.

They also go out one door only to want to be let in the other door for a treat.. I swear these things have crack in them.

Both dogs have learned how to open the door to be let in..they just havent learned how to close the damn thing.

She is lucky she is as cute as she is with all the damage she did to our place when she was in her major chew phase.

Our dog opens the back door. He jumps up at the handle and pulls it down and we never taught him to do it either

i don't own a dog but on a german tv talkshow yesterday an actress told about her dog who grew up with some cats - he often miaows like a cat, especially if his ball has run under a caste...

The cat I had before we god the dogs (she died) used to do that. We never taught her and she figured out how to do that and let herself back into the house. It is hard to think an animal like that is dumb.

If I start ripping off paper towels and putting them on the kitchen counter (I take them for cleaning up after them) my two dogs start dancing around and running to the door because they know a walk is going to happen.

Also, mine know sign language for 'treat'. It I use my fingers to make the letter 'T' they go nuts.

My Jack Russel Dobby can make his bed I managed to catch it on video one time.

Mine pretend not to know all those but know five words and phrases and the sign language for treat.
