i went to college in some buildings that used that type of heating/cooling . . I didnt get the heating bill so I dont know how much they saved but it seemed to work just fine

They rock, the fan runs all the time, but it equates to the electricity of a 100watt bulb. The install cost can be kind of steep, vertical wells are more efficient that latteral lines, but may cost more depending on where you live and the soil... you can also run them into ponds or lakes if you have one near by.

I hate to take the word of a salesman or claims made in brochures when looking at something I'm totally clueless about. Do you have any experience with actual utility bills? Dependability? thanks ....

we have geothermal in our home, the utility bills are so much cheaper than gas or electric......... i don't think the heat is as hot but even if it's running all the time my electric bill is never over $100
