How Much Interlinking is Too Much?
 

I remember when the easiest way to get to the top of Google was to have a web of your own sites, all of them linked to each other.

Now, Google penalizes you for too much interlinking.

So has anyone read any articles that break it down and explain how much interlinking is too much? Where is the line drawn?

use common sense...
no one can give u more accurate answer then that.

Unfortunately, common sense isn't easy when it comes to something as confusing as Google. I just wondered if anyone had an idea of whether they see ALL interlinking as bad, or if it's just a large amount of it that gets penalized.
