Has anyone seen this yet? It's suspect for me right now, but Daniel Day Lewis makes some good flicks.

I loved it
Daniel Day Lewis gave one of the greatest performances of all time and Paul Dano was no slouch himself

it could have done with about 15-20 lopped out of the middle there, but one of my top 5 movies of 2007

Great acting, DDL is freaking amazing.. cinematography was great.... story was a bit too long but kept me captivated

I enjoyed it and he was good but I just thought it was good but not great. That has happened to me a lot this year.

That's typical of this writer/director's movies, but I'm always left wanting more anyhow...so you won't hear me complaining.

Now with regards to blood, I can't wait to see The Machine Girl.

DDL was *brilliant* .. what's with years of shit movies and then having 'no country for old men' and 'there will be blood' in the theatre at the same time?

I want to see it but from the trailers it seems alot like the character he played in gangs of ny.

One hears great things about it.
