It seems to be pronounced many ways - I have heard Gong Hay Fat Choy.

Do you know what the difference is?

I believe it depends if you are saying it in Cantonese or in Mandarin. In Hong Kong most say it "Kung Hei Fat Choy", and in HK they speak Cantonese...considering the number of different dialects in Mainland China Im sure there are a lot of variations of the saying.

Similar to what a lot of people say during Christmas...Ive always said it "Merry Christmas", but my girlfriend who is British says it "Happy Christmas" and thats the way most Brits seem to say it as well.

Bring on the dragon dances and fireworks! On Vancouver tv they always say "Gung hey fat choi" so I'll stick with that one.
