wake up, feed kids, take them to school, edit, blog, edit, vote, read GFY, find and reply to all Baddog threads, tweak descriptions in DigitalDope for FreeOnes, blog, watch The People's Court, pick up kids, relax and be a dad, until tomorrow.. repeat.

And yes, I took time out of my busy schedule to vote.

Got in early to get it done.

I was wondering what would happen to all those votes for candidates that dropped out in the last week (such as Edwards) - as they still appeared on the ballot in Cali... do they just simply not count?

Part of me thought of doing the same...

Probably would have if I hadn't already considered the environment, and decided to vote for Obama.

Got too much shit to do man. Kind of a pisser to have it right in the middle of the week.

Us with families, and spouses that work generally maintain a weekly schedule of some sort.

and what is he going to do for the environment? Wait, doesn't matter, this is McCain's year anyway.

That was part of it, yes. I don't think she's the right fit for the post, and it would seem that even the moderate conservatives are too polarized against the Clintons to consider voting for them - even if they agree with them on the issues.

Hell... as I said - I'd consider voting against Hilary if she won the nomination, and with Paul out of the picture, I'm certainly leaning to the Left this go.

But I'm also starting to see a resemblance between Obama and JFK... and find that interesting in a few different respects. More to come on that later, as the idea marinates, I'm sure.

EZRhino 02-05-2008 06:53 PM

I voted and often

I was wondering about that. I had not heard that he dropped out, but was thinking he must be blowing off CA as I had seen zero advertising for him here.

D Ghost 02-05-2008 08:57 PM

fuck no....

shahab6 02-05-2008 09:57 PM

No I did not vote.

Not sure what the strategy of his campaign was, but, insofar as I was concerned (as a registered "non-partisan" voter) he wasn't a factor, I couldn't vote for him as the Republicans, per norm, excluded no-party voters from participating in their primary.

Otherwise, I woulda given the matter more thought.

stickyfingerz 02-05-2008 11:35 PM

Paul has 9 so far which in REALITY is really 1100 so he is CLOSE!! I mean damn. You have to factor in everything to understand the kind of support he has. :thumbsup

PornMogul 02-05-2008 11:44 PM

I never got around to registering when I moved states.

marcop 02-05-2008 11:50 PM

Yes... first thing this morning . . . .
