CAR GUYS...best replacement headlight bulbs...which are brightest

looking to replace the headlight bulbs on my boxster (i need H7). My current lights are the originals but they are starting to not be as bright or perhaps i am loosing my mind...either way i want to replace.

my questions is this: i do not want to change to HID lights since its going to be over $3K to do so.... i see these really high powered lights by sylvania (ultra performance) and another similar name for a bulb by Philips. Anyone here know which bulbs wil give the most light....???

Thanks in advance!

Don't waste your money on the Sylvania silver stars or whatever they are...I'm dumping these already and getting a real HID conversion kit for my Jeep.

Those are good ones. Whatever you do don't touch the bulb, If you didn't know that already. The oil from your hands could cause it to blow it up.

putting those in porsches and jags with halogen patterns is just strait up wrong, i can understand people with accords and civics dropping those in. but in reality halogen reflectors aren't made for hid's, u might as well just put ur highbeams on and drive like that.

I like the silverstars a lot actually. Have them in my Jeep too. Make sure you get headlight polish for your lenses to get rid of any residue and fading. Silverstars are WAY brighter than standard bulbs without being overly annoying to oncoming traffic. :2 cents:
