Fat Trimming Pills? ADVICE
A buddy of mine is looking to help burn a bit more fat while at the gym! I know there are thousands of companies/types of pills do burn fat easier but which are the best?
Which will not have any side effects? He's not look for ephederine or anything that will fuck with his heart! advice? |
My personal advice is not to use anything but stick to a good diet of major food groups and drink lots of water.
I got a new job working in a face paced factory and got off my ass, I lost 30lbs and now I started running to work. Little changes boost confidence and motivation. I think I was just being lazy. I know this isn't technically what you wanted to hear, but I'm trying to discourage the use of "Diet Pills". Good luck to your friend! |
1: cardio
2: burn more calories than you eat its really as simple as that. pill are only gonna be a negative in the long run. |
hot rox extreme.... but be careful and only take 1 to start. Great for having amazing cardio sessions.

The only time a fat burner will benefit is if your diet and exercise routine is in check. The fat burner will only provide a very minimal boost to metabolism so unless the other ingredients are there, it'll be wasted money.
Lipo 6 tends to be real popular among the fatties though. |
Cocain, Crack, Heroin, Ecstasy...cheap and very effective to lose weight.

Recommending fat burning pills is no different from pushing speed!
Proper diet (low caloric intake, low fat, no pop etc) and loads of exercise is the only fat burning ""tool"" that I'd support/endorse! |
I don't understand what everyone's hatred for ephederine is; if you use it properly with caffeine, and a low dose of aspirin, it's actually beneficial.
Yet, I digress - strap fatty to a tredmill. It worked for me! |
Don't use pills!
|
The only thing that actually works is Clenbuterol, and that's not legal. Pills aren't going to help.

Learn to use food properly and you won't need pills. I had a pesky 5 lbs. of "genetic" fat (thanks dad!) right on my belly and it didn't matter how much I worked out or what my workout routines were...my issue was food, plain and simple. And I didn't have an overeating problem, to say the least. I am 6'6", 195!
I made it a study to find out what a "smart" eating plan might be. I read some great books, experimented and found what works for me. The books I read that helped a ton were: - Better than Steroids (ironically, the author is CLEARLY a steroid monkey) - Muscle Chow from Men's Health - TNT Diet from Men's Health Basically, it comes down to food timing. A properly combined pre-workout "meal" -- a properly combined post workout "meal" (I workout in the morning) -- then just consume the majority of your carbs in the morning then taper them down to as few as possible by dinner. It melted that 5 lbs. in less than 2 weeks...and this is after trying to rid myself of it over a year-long, dedicated workout regimen. This really worked FOR ME. Get the books...learn how food is a drug and how to use it properly...and best of luck (to your friend LOL). |
"a buddy of mine" hahah
|
those ephederine/caffeine pills work great, but they will fuck your system up bad after a few months. Just eat subway like jered..... he does have aids though that might help
|
I heard of this crazy pill called "working out".

The Gym and Food

I've lost 20 pounds in the last 25 weeks, and am on track to hit -52 by the time the full year is up.
Drink Water. 2 quarts a day is about right... maybe a bit more, but don't force-feed it to yourself. Eat well... and by "well" I mean make sure you're getting nutrition in whatever form it might take... I don't balk at something having too many carbs, calories, or fat... I eat whatever the hell I want. You shouldn't starve yourself or alter your diet unless you're prepared to do it forever, and I like buffalo wings too much to go down that road. Maybe take supplemental vitamins for the good stuff that all that water washes out of you. This is Key: Doing 2 x 20 minute cardio sessions in a day is more efficient in health/weight loss than doing 1 x 60 minute cardio session. Cardio's meant to tune your body up - and those first 7-10 minutes/session are key in doing that... most of the actual weight loss happens when you're not running around the track or peddling. My personal routine of 2 x 20 minute sessions (age 34/heart bmp of 140-160)- 4 times a week has let me continue to eat/drink whatever the hell I want... even take a month off for the holidays... and still shed the weight. |
Anorexia works well.

There was some $7 natural pill that I used, I bought it more for the caffeine and antioxidants though (I usually need an energy boost pre-workout, because my blood pressure is freakishly low, so I'm a very low energy person)... I was pleasantly surprised to see that it actually seemed to speed up my metabolism as well. It was just a mix of fatty acids, blueberry/acai/pomegranate and green tea, so it was more of a supplement than a workout pill. I wish I could remember the name, though.
I'm really skeptical of Hydroxycut & all that, though. I did see a "chocolate diet pill" once at a grocery store... you should try that, haha ;) |
avoid dnp unless you want your organs stewed.
|
If you value your liver and / or heart then take some of the other advise given in this thread. Taking a pill to lose weight is retarded.

pills dont work, just work out and do it naturally

i realise alot of people have said this , and i hate to sound like a broken record , but tell your friend to STOP and think about this.
if you burn off more than you are eating , you will lose weight, no pills needed, doing it with pills is like swimming with a rocket on your back, sure you go faster but as soon as you take the rocket away you will be back to normal speed. so moral of the story is burn off more calories than you consume, very easy to do. if you only eat a certain amount you cant possibly gain weight, its impossible. |

you won't burn fat. You first burn nutrients in your system which haven't been stored as fat reserve. For fat burning it's better to walk an hour than to run for 30 minutes :thumbsup |
