is the United States 'Super' Crazy?
SuperBowl on Sunday, Super Tuesday today, super sized fast food meals, Superman, Super Ball, supermarket, superpower, information super highway ........... all American terms - any other countries into this 'super' thing?

No, it's an American thing. Just like having 'SALE!' written all over every shop.
Also, 'turbo' is popular. Imagine how dumb that packet would look with just 'Ball' written on it... :) |
hahaha just to indicate the best features of these super things! :winkwink:
Hey, if it's super, you have to call it super. It's not our fault if everything we do is super, just how it is.
If the whole super thing is too much, I'll see about getting everything that says super switched to sweet ass. Now, you can come out and watch the Sweet Ass Bowl, or bounce a sweet ass ball. I like it. |
I don't think McDonald's uses the term "Super Size" anymore.
I'm super bored
Yes the USA is....

You made a few dreams into reality by making some girls "superstars" on the internet. :)
It's because the United States is the only super power!
Extreme, reloaded, amped, 2.0, charged, juiced, I know I'm missing some.
The term was invented by Germany.
After second war all the Nazi generals escaped to USA in U-Boats, and the result is seen today. A Nazi USA invading countries to get oil and don't let them fuck up the dollar. Looks like the result is not what they expected. :) If you go to Germany, you will see they use the Term "Super" a lot. |
you're right - Xtreme/Extreme is this generation's 'Super'.
No just SUPER hegemonic
he·gem·o·ny /hɪˈdʒɛməni, ˈhɛdʒəˌmoʊni/ [hi-jem-uh-nee, hej-uh-moh-nee] ?noun, plural -nies.
