I like the post area to be the main interest of my blog... I want people to see the thing I'm selling. That's why I prefer it centered, larger and... focused :)
My opinion is that in your template the surfer gets too easily distracted, he gets confused and in the end doesn't take any action (= less sales)

But, I admit it, the colors are very easy on the eyes :)

Sorry, I misunderstood you.
I do agree with you to some extent, but this is a layout I have been playing with for around 3 months now and it has worked out great for me using the post layout the sample has (except usually another thumb leading to tour) and the same sort of sticky content used in the sample.

Most of the themes I build for myself, do follow the general centered main content like yours do and they work good, but I wanted to try something different with this one and it does work well.

It would be cool if they put that rule back that you must have at least 100 posts to announce something.
