That's a ridiculous argument. So if a player buys pot and smokes it, his team should be able to get his 5 million dollar signing bonus back? Please. It's his money. At least make the argument that he wasn't able to fulfill his contractual obligations.

Please. I hate Vick as much as the next man, but you can rape and kill someone and not get that kind of time or lose any money except for court costs. Many animals are killed in much less humane ways so you can fill your fat belly, yet your not calling for heads to roll when you eat KFC. Worry about people that are a danger to your kids and your energy will be much better spent.

his reputation is destroyed forever. his career is over. there is no benefit to him to give away money other than the tax benefits.

The benefit is that more animals could be taken care of with an influx of $5mil. I couldn't care less what people think of him afterwards.

Im all for animals, but he doesnt owe the humane society anything. That type of thinking leads down a very slippery slope.
