Speaking of Superbowl predictions, check THIS out...
 

My dad was listening to local talk radio the other day when they mentioned about a guy from right here in Winnipeg who predicted last summer that the Patriots would go undefeated and win the superbowl.

His wager: $500
The odds at the time: Something like 24,000 to 1.

A Patriots win yesterday would have won this guy a payout of close to 1.5 million dollars.

I bet he's crying the blues today.



In other news I myself made a prediction on several boards back in November. I predicted the Pats would not win the superbowl.

I wish I had of put $500 on it back then. :D

I put $100 on Giants to win and $20 on Manning as MVP yesterday :)

Fans that regulary put money on their favorite team sometimes hit it big. I remember the Minnesota Twin fan that would put $100. every year for the Twins to win the series. The year after they finished last in their division they won it all ..... don't remember the odds but they were large.
