so why wasnt there a campaign ad during the superbowl?

you would figure that would be a great opportunity to get the USs eyes on you as a candidate, especially right before Super Tuesday

was there a specific reason a candidate did not capitalize on this?

2.5-3 million, if crying helped clinton win new hampshire and having a conference revealing an attack ad that was not going to be ran helped huckabee win ohio, you would figure that you can pack a lot of punch with a well-put together super Bowl ad, considering whats at stake

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalra...s-million.html
In the first nine months of 2007, Romney, who made a fortune in private business, contributed roughly $17 million dollars to his own campaign. He has spent at least $7 million of that figure in Iowa on a massive media campaign that includes a barrage of attack ads against his chief rival, former governor Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
