this is my 3rd thread in about an hr but fuck im having a bad night, for some reason out of nowhere i press my apostrophe button and it brings up some fucking search tool at the bottom left of my screen. Ive been using firefox for a long time now and this has never happened, just started tonight and its not just on GFY, its on every site...anyone know WFT is going on and how i can stop this bullshit?

Maybe you're infected with some kind of spyware...

that search tool is the "find" feature in firefox , shouldnt be anything to worry about, the apostraphe shouldnt be the trigger but as look as it looks the same as the "find" search box thing its fine. try uninstalling firefox and reinstalling

mine does this too sometimes
Its either a firefox bug or i happen to be hitting some combination of keys that triggers it. |
This is a feature that is quick find in FF
if you click anywhere on the webpage and click the "/" key or the " ' " (apostorophe) key -then it will bring up a quick find box in FF - Obviously if you are in a search field this will not happen Nothing to worry about :thumbsup |
