Wordpress Question...
Hey folks,
Quick question... I currently run a number of Wordpress blogs and quite often work a couple weeks ahead. So I will create the post and save it as a draft and then visit the admin area to publish the post. Is there a way to do this automatically? I have searched for a plugin but haven't found anything. Thanks! |
i'm sure there's a plugin that could do more advanced stuff but the easy way to do it is to edit the timestamp (little box on the right hand side column) to a future date and then hit publish. it will "publish" the post but it won't show up on your blog until that date/time roills around

BlogDesk is a free program you might like.

Thanks Flexx... that was too damn easy.

:thumbsup no worries man it had me stumped at one point too. i thought it was gonna take some fancy plugin then i was like "oh...whats this?"
|
Yea, when you are making the post, on the right side there is an option to change the "Post Timestamp". Set it to what ever date in the future you want, and you're all set.

Thanks folks... problem solved. I was expecting to have to add some convoluted plugin to accomplish this :)
Cheers! |
yup just edit the timestamp and push publish....done
