why is toronto star so afraid of saying black - crazy crime in toronto

there was a very crazy criminal incident yesterday and toronto star thinks they are helping by giving suspect descriptions that basically idendify anyone without trying to be much more specific when they have more suspect information. i mean if you can tell us he had a baseball cap (which a person can take off) then you should tell us what race they are
