OceanSocial.com registration now open, the first webmaster cruise - WIN A FREE CRUISE
 

Alright, way back when I thought it would be a good idea for a webmaster cruise. I even started a thread about it. I finally decided that it is such a good idea that I would organize it myself. After quite a bit of work getting everything setup, the OceanSocial is now a reality.

The OceanSocial will take place on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas from September 29 to October 3 with stops in Coco Cay and Nassau, Bahamas. Not only that, we'll have a day at sea to relax by the pools, network, party and hang out. Check out OceanSocial for all the information on the event, as well as to get registered.

We are also looking for sponsors, and have some KILLER packages available. A couple of the sponsor spots not only come with their own suite, but come with an extra room to give away to affiliates or whoever. I will be running a contest for all Axis-Adult.com affiliates as well, so one of my affiliates will have a chance to win a free cruise. So if you aren't an affiliate, now would be a good time to sign up.

I am also going to give someone on GFY the opportunity to win a free room on the cruise for themselves and a friend in this thread. The person who gets post 1,500 in this thread will win a Large Oceanview Stateroom on the OceanSocial, so long as GFY allows the thread to continue. The rules are no post bots and you must be attending the event. Also you must be an adult webmaster, and I reserve the right to determine if the person is actually an adult webmaster or not. To prevent someone from winning who is not attending, the room must to paid in full, and once the event happens you will be reimbursed. Again, just so its clear, you will have to pay for the room if you win it in this thread, and when the event takes place you will get your money back. This is because I have to pay for the room and I don't want it going to waste.

Yeah I would have liked to have done Amsterdam and Oktoberfest as well, but I think the cruise will be a nice change.

I checked that too - prices from $279 with an ocean view for a 3-day cruise is not bad...that's a busy time of year for me, but a vacation cruise sounds nice.

That depends. Personally I would never try to set up another gathering while a major established gathering is being done....But if I did, I certainly would not do it as a cruise in the middle of hurricane season. :2 cents:

Many of the ports don't have docs. The ships anchor in the ocean and run the life boats to and from the shore. When the sea is rough, they skip those ports and you are stuck on the ships.

And that's for minor stuff.

Caribbean cruises should be avoided between June and November.

True, but I did go fishing for yellow tail in a ponga during a pretty big storm.
