if you arent promoting mr skin you probably should and heres a reason why

im lazy and sometimes i forget to go to the bank and cash little checks and stuff

anyway, i get this letter in the mail:

http://la.gg/upl/mrskincheck.jpg

have you ever even HEARD of an affiliate program that does that?

believe me ive racked up a ton of little checks in my day and forgot to cash them - example:

http://la.gg/upl/ccbillcheck.jpg

was cleaning out my drawer and found those
void after 180 days im a bitch

but yea seriously fucking stand up as hell

ytcracker 02-02-2008 06:22 PM

damn you i fucking HATE BEING IGNORED YOURE ALL POOR AND WORTHLESS

Sly 02-02-2008 06:39 PM

I've had a couple sponsors that have done similar things. Its always nice to know somebody is covering your back. :-)

lazycash 02-02-2008 06:41 PM

Yeah that would definitely be the exception for sponsor programs. Its one thing to send out a letter notifying someone of a check that never cashed, but they went one step further and stopped payment and re issued a check, nice.

mikeyddddd 02-02-2008 06:42 PM

:winkwink:

I recall BumbleCash and PussyCash sending me new checks because I never cashed the original.

LiveDose 02-02-2008 06:47 PM

That's classy for sure...

D 02-02-2008 06:50 PM

Little known fact:

"void after x days" is actually an illegal statement.

It's just a suggestion. Provided the account still exists, the bank cannot refuse payment on a check, no matter how old it might be. :2 cents:

Correct your local bank teller in regards to this fact at your discretion.

---

Still good of them to bring it to your attention. :thumbsup

This is true. Its usually listed as sort of a motive to cash your checks promptly.

Bojangles 02-02-2008 06:58 PM

That's awesome.

papill0n 02-02-2008 07:02 PM

Very cool of them to do that.

ytcracker 02-02-2008 08:09 PM

I have a check thats almost a year old. Could I get it cashed?

ytcracker 02-02-2008 08:14 PM

i probably have a pile of sub $100 checks if i went through all my stuff

ive found 7 of those ccbill checks ($29.55 each in value) that passed the void mark so far

if that void after x statement is indeed false ill make a trip and deposit them all

is there a law i should cite?

Phil21 02-02-2008 10:06 PM

Just deposit via ATM..

ungratefulninja 02-02-2008 11:47 PM

I had Mr Skin do the same thing for me. It was around $250 just off a single video link on a blog. Definately unexpected.

scottybuzz 02-03-2008 03:04 AM

if only nasty dollars and traffic cash gold did this, i have a few $35 dollars lieing around uncashed simply for the fact the charges would be so high to cash them

Brujah 02-03-2008 03:39 AM

Very cool of them, for not being the usual greedy sponsor.

Twig 02-03-2008 09:04 AM

www.adultplatform.com Did something similar for me a couple months ago.
I signed up with them a loooong ass time ago, never promoted them, got a signup some how, and 2 years later the recurring revenue finally got up to a $60 payout. Well I had moved since then so they sent me an email when their check got returned twice. Love it when they do nice shit like that.

RayBonga 02-03-2008 09:25 AM

I gave dozens of small checks around, my banks fee for dollar checks is more than the value of those checks.

I not promoting anything that doesn't use epass right now.

pip 02-03-2008 09:28 AM
