Your TV : Plasma or cathode-ray?

The flat screen plasma TV's seem to be everywhere nowadays, we still have an old-style cathode-ray one, how about you?

Interesting jo3. When we replace our main TV, might skip plasma and 'go laser':winkwink:

My TV is old enough to drink.

I almost got a new one, but they were out of stock.

Good point. That's why I haven't spent $2k+ upgrading mine. I already pay Foxtel $1k a year for their crappy content. :winkwink:

Zester 02-03-2008 02:23 AM

i got the same Sony tv for like 20 years or something.

50" Plasma. Got it one week before Christmas since my girlfriend had bought me a Playstation 3. That was as good an excuse as any to buy myself a new TV :)

Spicoli 02-03-2008 09:22 AM

21" crt
55" rear projection
50 plasma
dual 19" lcd monitors on puter
4 other 17" puter crt's

that laser looks like it's gonna blow them all away!!!!!!!!
get ready for cheap plasma

Basic_man 02-03-2008 09:25 AM

boneless 02-03-2008 09:59 AM

42inch plasma in the living room, the old 28 inch crt went into the bedroom.

Peaches 02-03-2008 10:02 AM

2 13 inch regular
3 19 inch regulars
1 30 inch regular

Same here... I paid way too much for my 32" flat CRT when I first got to costa rica (80% luxury tax on electronics)... Now I've replaced it with a 42" though and the CRT is upstairs in my office.

Paparazzi 02-03-2008 10:40 AM

old 28" tv
