i watched this doc the other day 'the education of shelby knox'
 

some probably know what its about, an obnoxious fat chick brainwashed by her religious parents slowly starts thinking for herself and realises everything the hypocrite pedos from church tell her is bullshit.

Anyway what struck me was the wardrobe of her government following religious republican nutcase of a father. EVERY SINGLE SHOT he was wearing the stars and stripes flag logo, whether it was on an offical tie (a fucking flag print on a TIE) or a casual t shirt at home. Jesus christ, talking about a stereo type! It was THE perfect touch for all the freaky religious scenes, seeing him in the background with that government-spoon-fed wardrobe. I love it!

It was a good movie. Amazing how some people make up their mind about something and they will not change it no matter how many facts you give them.

To me the creepiest part of the movie is when she is pledging to be abstinent and her father and mother and there and she is saying marriage like vows to her father and Jesus while he slips a ring on her finger. It looked like she was marrying her dad.

so true, a very sick moment. And that reverand who's behind that gathering leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can just see him touching up on the minors he receives one on one like the fat chick did (but with a camera). The guy looks like the ultimate hypocrite, he comes over as a dirty motherfucker.
