Yea I really like the USB cards they curently have also.. Fold them in half and plug them in to any PC... No card reader or cables needed.

Yeah... storage has come a long way in the last few years... and is getting insanely cheap.

Single Terabyte Drives at $220...

Hell, I just bought a 2 gig SD card for $8.95 including shipping. Pocket-change for enough storage to hold 1500 5.0MP shots.

Amazing.

And some people wonder why Apple didn't put a DVD/CD player on their new thin laptops....

StuartD 02-01-2008 11:10 AM

Wow, I like the one that hinges open to reveal a USB plug so you can just plug it right into the computer

Dwreck 02-01-2008 11:13 AM

wow thats insane! I would love to see a graph of the rate of growth vs price of digital memory Vs another product.

DigitalDruid 02-01-2008 11:19 AM

32 gig sd.... if only batteries could keep up to that.......

Daruma 02-01-2008 11:22 AM

32Gb in something that small is crazy.

I went out to get the mail yesterday and found a 2GB SD card sitting on the sidewalk. Was in prefect condition and I checked the card and it was blank and clean. Gave it to my kids to store stuff on their Wii.

Xrated J 02-01-2008 11:31 AM
