So now it's coming out that Heath Ledger's "masseuse" was never licensed by the state to be a masseuse, and was never licensed in CPR, like all masseuse are required to be in new York.

A hooker is what she was, not a masseuse.

And now she is facing JAIL TIME for practicing without a license. LOL :1orglaugh

Initially they said he was face down in a pile of pills... now its just his prescriptions etc. Tabloids are looking for anything they can to make this more of a story.

I know new york has some of the most strict requirements to be a massage therapist. Takes at least 2 years of schooling, where most states require maybe 500-750 hours of school... Here in NC, you are free to massage anyone you want, even if you aren't licensed... just as long as you don't advertise it as massage. Its probably the same in most other places and possibly new york.

Could have been someone who never got their license or didn't complete school for some reason, but still did massages on the side. Theres a lot of people doing that here, and you only have to go to school for 750 hours :P New York AFIAK also doesnt recognize massage certifications from other states because of the lesser requirements, so she could have been trained elsewhere and moved to NYC.

there were bodyworkers not licensed but not hookers in NYC. i used to go to this kick boxing dike who had amazing hands.
