I never understood why people post "I may be interested, hit me up on ICQ, etc." in hiring threads when what the potential employer is looking for is clearly posted (e-mail him your resume). If a job seeker is asking you to contact them you already have a pretty decent idea of what kind of affiliate rep they are going to make...

but I wonder why you're against board spamming? If done in a smart way, it can bring good results, lots of programs were built or branded because of GFY.

I think you misunderstood. I am just not looking for someone who just runs up a post count talking about britney spears in hopes to get clicks to a sig. Or someone who aggressively spams in ways that could get them banned or gives my site a bad rep.

I am looking for a constructive rep who can bring in new affiliates and more importantly help affiliates with their marketing to make sure they are making as much as they can by promoting my site.

no preference. no relocating needed.

I'd suggest you apply for the job but with 12000+ posts since August 2006 your schedule is obviously booked. :winkwink:

I understand. I just took a look at your site AdultMillionaire.com so I guess I got a better understanding of your outlook on certain things, e.g. message boards, after I read your story/thoughts there.

I wonder however, if going to webmasters events and networking in real life with affiliates/business partners, is important for you?

Well, alot of business is done face to face. This would benifit me and the affiliate rep since the rep will be earning commissions. If he/she goes to shows or every year then I think it is good to keep going and continue networking this way. If he/she only networks online and does not go to shows then I am ok with this as long as they are successful with their online networking.
