Ross 01-31-2008 08:50 AM

Not just a free kick master, the best player in the world as well. No one can touch him right now and he's still only 22 years old! Incredible.

Scott McD 01-31-2008 08:53 AM

I wonder if any team will make a ridiculous offer for him in the summer. Man U wouldn't sell him anyway at whatever price...

That is your personal opinion.

FACT is Kaka is the best player in the world. And Pirlo does that every weekend :)

Kaka isn't as good as Ronaldo. I remember having a discussion on here with you about this before. You seem to not be able to see passed Kaka for some reason. No one doubts he is a great player but he is not as good as Ronaldo. Fact is Ronaldo has 29 goals in all competitions this year. He is a winger, not a forward, he has no right to have as many goals as he does.

Also if Pirlo does that every week how come he only has 7 goals this season? Surely he would be closer to Ronaldo in that sense huh?

Take your head out Kaka's ass long enough to appreciate a 22 year old who plays football for fun and is still going to get better in time as well.

Dude as long has Ronaldo plays in England he will score as many goals, Kaka' plays in Italy where they won't let you breath, Defenders in italy are way more aggressive and though that in England.

Kaka' can play as a winger, forward, midfielder, Ronaldo only in one position.

Pirlo first of all hasn't played all the games, second he plays in midfield and besides scoring goals he is an assist man.

Ronaldo is a great player but he has to show to be a leader, a team player and and some steadiness things that kaka' but also Pirlo can bring to the table every season.

Ronaldo has to show he is a leader? 29 Goals in half a season isn't leading? I am not disputing Kaka is a great player, he's world class, probably in the best 3 players in the world. However on current form he is not as good as Ronaldo.

As for saying Ronaldo is scoring coz he is in England, what a load of rubbish. Professionals all around the world class the Premiership as the best league in the world. Then its Spain then Italy. Italian football is boring, its full of players diving to cheat the referee. How many games finish with more than 3 goals in a game?

kmanrox 01-31-2008 09:45 AM

yeah that was sick... goalkeep didnt even budge.. ronaldo himself looked in shock even... both of his goals were pretty sick... while i dont like him cuz he's a diving crybaby and he got rooney sent off in the cup, i was thinking last night, this mofo is gonna be the best player in the world, and he's still young... imagine him in a couple years now that he's budding

Johnny Rocco 01-31-2008 09:46 AM

IMHO Pirlo is by far the most underrated talent in the world....he makes Kaka the player he is and elevates everyone around him. I also believe Pirlo should have won MVP for the World Cup - he was the key to the Italian Success throughout the tournament and for me was the best player in the world last year.

Unfortunately he has a relaxed and low key personna which hinders him on a level of awards, but ask any coach or manager in the world and most would take a young Pirlo to base their team around.

Rinaldo has such a bad temper and is easily goaded into playhing foolish, any defender or opponent knows how to get under his skin and easily off his game.

Good post! Pirlo is probably the most underrated player ever. I watch ALOT of football every week and what that man does is beyond me. And he plays great no matter if it is world cup final, CL final or Siena in Serie A.

Ronaldo is still 22 but he definitely showed last year in CL that he is not yet ready for big matches.

Yes we had this discussion before but this time I am simply pointing out that Kaka was voted best player in the world. You can have your opinion but FACT is Kaka is the best player.

Maybe Ronaldo is in a better form than Kaka right now but form is temporary. Class is permanent. And Kaka is pure class.

The Premier league is the definitely one of the best Leagues in the world and if this is true it's due only to international players and coaches playing there.

Look at the Top teams in the PL...how many British Players are playing in any given game? very few....

Who is going to coach the national team? Capello

Italian Football might be boring sometimes but it's more competitive and thought than British football.

In Italy you can see Empoli winning in San Siro Against AC Milan , you can have teams like Siena keeping Inter for 70 minutes in their half field or Catania advancing to the semifinals of the "Coppa italia".

In PL league it is hard to see such competitiveness from small teams.

Read the book " the Italian Job" written by Gianluca Vialli ,who played with Chelsea for years, in there you can read interviews with several British managers that consider the italian league and coaching system the best in the world.

I am talking about people such as Platt, Robson,Keane, Erickson, Ferguson...

Plus regarding the diving thing...i think Ronaldo had 2 or 3 yellow cards in last year Champions League.

MOxxx 02-07-2008 07:13 AM

And as i said above, When Ronaldo plays away from England with though defenders he doesn't do as well as in Premiership, did you guys watch the game Italy-Portugal last night?

He touched the ball maybe 10 times and dove 3 times....

he has a long long way to go.

and...about Pirlo? Watch and Learn Mr Ronaldo.

Donnie I took on board everything you said until this sentence. Seriously man, watch Manchester United in the Champions League please then come back to me an apologise. I honestly don't know if you watch the game with the attitude that you don't like Ronaldo but he is pure pure class. I know this because Man Utd played against Celtic, my fav team in the Champions League and I saw Ronaldo at the game in Glasgow, I was there and the guy is incredible.

To say something like you did is insane. I also saw Kaka as AC Milan played Celtic as well, I saw them both at the games and Ronaldo impressed me more.

Ivo 02-07-2008 07:38 AM

what a fantastic goal !!

Violetta 02-07-2008 08:06 AM

it was fucking magic..

Paco, of Large Cash. 02-07-2008 09:09 AM

Absolute perfection!

As for better than Beckham! Damn skippy.

The one trick pony only has a wicked cross going for him. Other than that, his fußball skills are weak, at best. Okay, maybe he excels at stomping on peoples heads while they are down! BTW, did his team not finish LAST??
bah hah hah..

I am glad to see that Cristiano is finally maturing. Going back not that long ago, he truly looked like a fool because he was always throwing his hands down in frustration rolling while whining and crying.

Cristiano surpassed Beckham the day he (Cristiano) stepped on the pitch!

marcop 02-07-2008 09:29 AM

Ronaldo is amazing. I wish Chelsea had bought him . . . .

yes ronaldo only scored 2 goals in manchester united's 7-1 thrashing of the tough italian team roma.

if he was good he would of got at least a hatrick

Poppy 02-07-2008 09:39 AM

He is such a class player. In a league of his own. Nice to see him mature.

Violetta 02-07-2008 09:47 AM

I just had to watch it again
