CCBill Chargebacks (Question)
I'm just curious. How long do most CCBill sites give the surfer until they can not get a refund? I'm asking because I just noticed this sale that I got back on the 18th.. somehow I missed it on the day I got it. Unless it just wasn't reported until later. I notice it says the subscription lasted only two days. Yet I'm still getting $8+ for this sale. I thought two days was enough time for the surfer to cancel, no?
I'm glad I get something for it, but am surprised I get anything at all for a subscription that lasted only two days. Or does it change from program to program, and not by CCBill? Also, why do you suppose the average surfer cancels a subscription? Especially if in this case they lose half their money? |
Was probably Amex. Its normally 45 days, but some banks, and credit cards allow much much longer time frames. It sucks..

Technically they have up to 6 months to chargeback on many things, though I would have to really search my damn stats hard for one of those fuckers who did that and it showed some listings as to old to refund. Which would give me the max time ccbill allows. If I recall I think its 3 months on ccbill yet I could be wrong. |

The maximum time is usually 60 days but this can change depending on the situation. Of course we would rather avoid issuing credits all together. CCBill is still not accepting Amex as payment, this has not changed. Hit me up if you would like to discuss further paulk @ ccbill.com ic q 248615940 |

If they try and sign up again with the same card, or e-mail, they can't. :disgust |
Okay, but I am still confused. If the maxinum number of days is normally 45, how did I still get a percentage of the cut? It says he signed up on the 18th of January and then cancelled two days later on the 20th.
