Mainstream Assholes READ THIS

In my searching the net for the next big deal I ran across a new program that is paying for EVERY visitor to your site... not some BS PPC deal like Google/YPN and not some low-rent impressions program like Adbrite. These guys are paying $3.50/1000 on all qualified traffic and all you traffic has to be to qualify is Java/Flash enabled.

http://ppp.powerpagematrix.com

The program is in Beta/pre-launch and it will go live on Feb 1st.

Check it out. This could be the next best thing to hit publishers in a long time. I know I will be sending them 50k and day from jump street.

LOOPNAME Se Vende! 01-31-2008 12:22 AM

February 1st is tomorrow, man! I know what you mean though. Once I see a payment I will press this deal much harder.

Nope, never heard of that. Drop a link to a site or at least some posts about them.

REMEMBER:

You can also earn 5% on 2nd and 5% on 3rd tier referrals.

http://ppp.powerpagematrix.com

Only sign up if you want to make cash from each visitor with a minimum of effort.

Did I mention this will not interfere with your existing PPC/PPA programs? You can run them on th same pages as Adsense, YPN or scAmmeDENGAGE...

Bumpo for people that want to make money!

This program goes live tomorrow. If you are not in yet you should be!

I like how you treat your target group. Maybe not everyone likes being called a asshole......even though I am one and rather proud of the fact.

I thought about addressing it to "Mainstream Fags" but thought that might not cover a wide enough demographic. Then I thought about "Mainstream Cocksuckers". While that would certainly attract more GFY'ers it would still leave a large percent untouched. Then it occurred to me that one "ism" covers about 99.672% of the posters on this board - ASSHOLES!

If I have offended any of the assholes on here by using the term "assholes" I refuse to apologize and suggest that you thicken your skin/go to therapy/have another drink, snort, toke, or bump and get over it.

I also suggest that the rest of your assholes sign up for this program... if you want to make effortless money!

Tool, come on! You know the drill! You get in for the first 1 or 2 checks while they still have seed money.

That's the ticket... seed money!!

Whatever it takes and here is the deal. Everyone that signs up now will have the option of building a 3 tier downline. It is my understanding that once the program is rolling that option will be gone.

You mean Net Audio Ads?

I thought they were promoting through sellingppp.com ?

Edit: I see, it's a redirect.

CyberHustler 01-31-2008 08:58 PM

I would never do this to my surfers, but for those who don't give a fuck this is a great opportunity. :thumbsup

Nice...

Thanks for sandbagging my thread. Just out of curiosity, if you were going to "edit" why not edit the whole thing....

JEEBUS! Remind me to help you out one day.

Ok, you are one of those "audio ads annoy" surfers. That is interesting...

POLL:

1. How many people here hate the "Duke of New York" flash audio banner?

2. How many people have stopped coming here because they were annoyed by that ad?

ANSWER:

1. EVERYONE

2. NONE

Nothing makes me go "HUH?" more than listening to people that want to "protect" or spoon feed "their" users. You (and everyone else) is subjected to annoying ads on TV and radio AND the internet every single day. Has this made people stop using these services? No. In fact, people don't mind ads as much as some would have you believe.

If you want to keep your users from being exposed to a 5 second ad then all the more power to ya. I will annoy mine since making money is the reason for the season. When I have more in the bank perhaps I will run a truly free, public service. Until that day: ads will be served. ;)

Yep, that's me.. a whelp.

Even way back in '05 there used to be business conducted on here... that is almost a thing of the past.

Maybe I should start a "Would You Hit It" thread.

I actually block all GFY ads now because of that Duke banner. If it annoys me I wont do it to my surfers. I work for my surfers so I value them not being annoyed while visiting my sites. This is just me though, nobody else has to think and act like me.

Bdiddy 01-31-2008 09:13 PM

Wonder who their advertisers will be.

Makes sense for people who dont give a shit and start up a bunch of sites. To me, once your traffic is capped or until you spend money to increase traffic, your revenue will be perpetually limited.

but i'd throw it on a site for shits and giggles maybe...for awhile

I am not giving you shit about it. I am just saying that there are different way to view things. I know of quite a long list of people that come to me and say, "Fr0g, how can I improve the income from my site?" When you suggest things they often fall on the "that might piss off my users" sword. My argument is always the same, "You can't please all of the people all of the time."

In fact, your users could give a rats ass about your site (most likely) and they will abandon you for the next shiny thing that grabs their ADD.

I say, monetize fast, hard and repeatedly. But that is just my strategy. Yours may (and maybe should) be different.

This is not about "not giving a shit". It is just smart marketing. There were plenty of people that hated banners ads several years ago and you guys have built a huge business around people who don't give a shit about placing banners.

Mainstream marketing is going through some changes. For some sponsors clicks are not the goal. Getting the message heard is the goal.

I find it hard to believe that a 5 second ad will drive users away. I will certainly report and changes in my pageviews after the first 30 days of serving audio ads. I am currently getting 2.83 pageviews per visitor on the site where these ads will be deployed.

Watch for an update.. or better yet, sign up and evaluate your own stats.

Bdiddy 01-31-2008 09:52 PM

I'm not knocking it necessarily and didn't say anything about annoying ads.

I'd be interested to see who their advertisers will be, and how you do with it after 30 days. Also, what do they define as "qualified traffic"?

Right now, I am unclear on the advertisers and according to them qualified traffic is anyone with java or flash to hear the ads.

96ukssob 01-31-2008 10:43 PM

Thats a pretty good rate, but my friend runs an ad agency and can get up to $50 CPM ($50 per 1000 visitors) if you have a site that pertains to B2B or finance related.

There is a lot of money in promoting advertising, just sucks that adult CPM is sooo low

Interesting...

I actually do have a finance related site. Hit me up on ICQ and lets talk.

d-null 01-31-2008 10:51 PM

the last CPM program that came out with big promises ended up paying almost nobody before they went under and disappeared

if it sounds good to be true, it usually turns out bad

ThunderBalls 01-31-2008 10:58 PM

Jesus Christ, now we're going to have to listen to that shit everytime we go to a site? Some people are just driven to make people not even want to turn on their computers.

You are right, and if you look a little you can find a long list of programs that have filed. Tons of people lost loads of money with iBill, but that has not stopped people from making money. There are people that are still running YPN ads in spite of the clear signs that their ship is sinking.

Please don't let the "if-this-dog-bites-that-means-all-dogs-bite" mentality hold you back. Will this program fail? Only time will tell. You can't make me believe that a person can be successful without taking a leap of faith each and every day.

It is called progress and commerce man!

Have people stopped watching commercial television or listening to free radio because of ads? Nope, and they will continue to use the internet to surf free sites that run auto-play ads too.

You are right...

Currently the payouts are $.0035 or 25% of a $14 CPM. That will increase to $20 CPM very soon. That would bump your take up to .005 per visitor. If you visitor stays on your site for 6 minutes you will get paid again because they will get another ad... 12 minutes, 18 minutes... A user that viewed 6 pages of your site over an 18 minute period would yield .03.

Linguist 02-01-2008 05:04 AM

Oh fuck I hope people won't start using this BS on their sites. If you annoy em enough, they'll stop coming.

May be ok for those lyrics or myspace layout type of sites though where you don't care about your visitor and they dont care about you

~Ray 02-01-2008 07:55 AM

I installed my code and can't hear anything. I can only see a little blue dot. Also, stats still are not working and the page says stats will be working Thursday aka yesterday.

Agreed 100%!

I would say a good majority of webmasters on this board, whether they let it be known or not, have business in the "mainstream".

Also, I think in due time, you will see many more Adult webmasters migrating over to the mainstream. Many more innovative ideas are coming from the mainstream side than adult at this point. ..

Bottom line is that in mainstream ...the conversions and money are both very enticing!

Wow, you have to be kidding me, right?

That was to get people to read the post. If the post headline had been, "Really Nice Sensitive Mainstream Webmasters Pretty Please Read" would that have been a better "start"?
