Okay Serge... for all of us newbs, let's hear it. Why are you such a great and wondrous icon of the adult Internet. Here's your shot to tell your story. I'm truly curious. No limits, if you wanna do a condensed version, great.... but feel free to tell us as much as you want.

I, for one am dying to hear it because I am a newb and I honestly don;t know the *Story of Serge*.... although I expect it is an impressive one.

Surely there is more to you than just being a stupid old washed up Netpond reject. So please.... tell us all about your great accomplishments and all the other wonderful things about "Serge" that we SHOULD know about.

I'm being totally serious..... I never followed Netpond, so I'm not influenced by the past... I've never had any ties to the man..... I simply don't like him. Maybe this can shed some light on why, because I myself don't know the answer to that. All I know is he's a stupid, bitter, loud-mouthed old man that apparently MUST have some claim to fame.... he sure tries to sell that anyway.

So let's hear it Serge..... WHY should I consider you worthy of ANY respect? What the fuck have you done for me lately?

Well, I certainly don't want to go down in the books as never having given the man a chance to speak his side of everything.... so I thought this would be a great way to address it and let him set all of us straight on just exactly who he really is. If there's some reason I should be giving him more respect, then I would like to know it so that I can.

So far I have no reason.

Come on Serge..... I'm being honest here. I really don't know your past. So I'd be very appreciative if you'd enlighten me. Accomplishments, successes, even failures if you're willing to share that. Let me know the man that is *Serge*. Perhaps I may even find some respect for you.

I'm thinking that Serge probably won't entertain us with even a short synopsis of what he's about because he doesn't want to lose any psuedo-belief in him as some sort of Internet legend.

Whereas REAL people, legends or not, would simply state the facts and be done with it. Not Serge.... he's clinging to whatever is left... not much I expect....

I'm not embarrassed... I AM new to this biz.... I've been doing this for approximately a year and a half..... I make websites and have my fingers in a few other things as well. But I'm not important.... I'm nobody. I don't claim to be a legend or even important.

But I certainly am not going to cow to some blowhard like Serge just because he once had a name somewhere.... lol

I'm gonna hafta take Serge's non-response as an indicator that there IS no story. Which is what I gathered all along. Just another loudmouth has been that's trying to save what little reputation he has left.

"People will talk about Serge and say anything bad about anyone, but people are afraid to say anything bad about Yishai."

Lee: "Why, do you think Yishai is going to put cement boots on us and drop us over the bridge?"

Brad: "When I was introduced to Yishai... The person who introduced me said, 'Don't ever say anything bad about this guy, Brad. He'll have you taken care of.' And he was dead serious."

Luke: "What do you know about Yishai?"

Brad: "I know how he runs his sites, which everyone knows. Obviously I feel that it is bad for our industry. But right now it is too late. The harm has already been done. The guy has made a fortune, $100 million, $200 million, $300 million, there's no telling. How the guy gets credit card accounts, I'll never know."

Lee: "You know they have this guy under investigation."

Brad: "Oh sure they do."

Lee: "Do you think Yishai's affiliated with organized crime?"

Brad: "I won't touch that one with a ten foot pole."

Lee: "I don't blame you. I think we all know that answer."

All I remember about Serge is that he ran a click brokerage...paid a few cents per click for traffic he resold at a higher price. I never understood why anyone would think that was a good deal when you could have a relationship directly with the sponsors and get the higher rate per click. The good, the bad, and the ugly was also around at the time and pretty much looked like it does now.

I also remember his site had a scan of a big check to prove he had money to pay out to people. If I could remember the url I'd go back and look at the Internet Archive and post a link.

I was posting one on one with the almighty Sergeness in the other thread when I started this one, and I even went and gave him a link to make him aware of it.... when he felt he was too important to post in this thread, I took it to his... and he quickly evaded everything there as well.
