I know i should just consult an accountant but they just want me to come and pay them to answer my question when i just need some advice :P
I got asked today by a friend if she could file one w2 this year and this another one she got next year?

If she files BOTH of them she owe's 1,000
but if she files just one of the companies she gets back 4,000

To answer your question, NO! ... A W2 is given to the employee and the IRS for the calendar year she earned the money.

yea so far ive read it would not be worth even attempting with tine fees n shit they will hit her with and not being able to do EIC for a few years or wahtever

If she owes tell her to file anyway. The penalty comes from not filing. If she does not have the money to pay by 4/15 she can call the IRS and they will give her a payment plan based on what she can afford to pay monthly.
