What's Hillary thinking with the Florida result?

What Bush did and got away with I can do too.....and better? With the FL
pre-election not being valid for the dems.....she claims victory and now
wants the result to be counted after knowing fully well it wouldn't?

Amazing to watch.....pure comedy.....I pitty you guys if she gets in office :thumbsup

Whether it counts or not, the point is she won over Obama and Edwards. Just the fact that she won is a boost for her.

How can this possibly correlate to the 2000 election? It is a completely different scenario.

what stunt could be pulled? either they reinstate the delegates for all of the states who were stripped of them, or they don't
I highly doubt you can pick and choose at this point whose delegates count and whose don't

Well they stripped of them before the elections and nobody said they should
be reinstated till after the results were in......that was why I made the "joke"
about it really......

What are you talking about "now she wants it to be counted"? I've been following all the races on both sides forever and have not seen her or any of her talking heads say anything like that. Where did someone say that?

Yes, Hillary is a power hungry bitch.

The Clintons are the dirtiest players in American politics.

She now wants the florida votes be reinstated as they were declared to be counted because
of FL illegal moving the pre-elections to this date instead of super tuesday.
:2 cents:

It's definitely true. We were stripped of delegates, and she never complained until it turned out she was winning Florida, and now she's fighting to have them count.

They should count, I think, but it's kind of a petty ploy.

Actually, I heard that several days ago.

99% of your posts are pure amusement

Yes she won......but nobody seemed to care that FL was stripped of delegates
until she won.....had she lost she would never have mentioned it....question is
would 1 of the other candidates in that case? It was known long before
the election that this was the case....

Tom_PM 01-30-2008 11:07 AM

I still have not heard or read in any place but this thread that Clinton actually is fighting (?) to have those votes count as delegates. Especially since they all agreed that they would not, and they didnt even campaign there. It seems entirely silly. I guess I'll google for some news on it.

ps: just fyi I believe you all, I'm just surprised the mainstream tv media isn't talking about it non-stop, or even mentioning it. wtf

Every news show in Europe mentions it....

Tom_PM 01-30-2008 11:19 AM

Oh I've read some reports now, and I see that both Clinton and Obama (and speaker Pelosi) have said that both Michigan and Florida delegates MAY be seated when all is said and done. However all parties know, and have known for over a year, that those delegates will not count in this election cycle.

Seems kinda trumped up, but the actual news articles make it pretty clear. In other words, neither of them are fighting to make the votes count in this election, but they dont expect the "punishment" on Mich. and Fl. delegates to hold beyond this cycle. That must be why it's not getting much mention.
