Possible Reason for Ledger's Death??

ehhehh

Did the.... SHAME of Brokeback ... finally catch up with him?

hahhahhahaha

CuriousToyBoy 01-30-2008 12:19 AM

You kidding, right ?

Actors LOVE controversial roles, it's what separates a REAL actor from the rest of the cattle.

What about that tiny Linda Hunt chick that played the guy in "The Killing Fields" (and won shit loads of awards for it).

Did playing a man fuck her about?

What about Christian Bale? Did "American Psycho" fuck him up?

How about De Niro in "Taxi Driver" ?

Or anyone in a Tarantino flick ?

Puh-lease.

Heath Ledger died from having too much money and too much time and too many options - thereby making his choices seem like nil.

Hey my Aussie mate, Linda Hunt did not (to my knowledge) appear in "The Killing Fields", but she did play a male, and won the Best Supporting "Actress" Oscar award for her role in the Peter Weir (Aussie) film, "The Year of Living Dangerously".

Other than that, you are spot on... :thumbsup

Drugs did Heath in - and I believe it was more about addiction/inner demons in his real life, rather than roles which he chose to act in.

i would venture to guess an unknown heart condition

my wife was 22 when she had her cardiac arrest, and if she had not been in a public setting she would not be sitting next to me right now

she had Wolff Parkinsons White Syndrome...basically it was an extra band of muscles behind the heart that usually was inactive, but at anymoment could sieze up and take her down, and that is what it did

she has since had it fixed, but it can be there and no one even knows it is there, and when you mix drugs and alcohol into the mix, it makes it more likely to activate

something like that is what killed him, i bet

Drugs...????

Sarah_Jayne 01-30-2008 03:55 AM

Yeah, a lot of shame in doing a good film and getting nominated for an Oscar for it. Now, had it been Eddie Murphy right after Norbit then I might get the thread.

JUSTB 01-30-2008 07:29 AM

why would he be ashamed of the best acting performance of his career?

NikKay 01-30-2008 08:03 AM

Brokeback Mountain was one of his best performances and he always said he was proud of it. According to the news sources thus far, they didn't find any illegal drugs in his possession... ambian is something he was taking that a lot of people keep trying to point their finger at.

I knew a girl that dropped dead at the age of 24 from an unknown heart condition and when the paramedics arrived they asked about 50 times what kind of drugs she was on.

there is no difference between abuse of illegal drugs and abuse from doctor prescribed drugs.

Doctors have the best drugs, and its very likely he overdosed on the numerous (6 diff kinds of pills) in his room, no matter if they came from a dude on the corner or a doctor.

Drug abuse is drug abuse and he was known for always being on pills.

Fuck yeah, he should be doing "Joe Versus The Volcano 2" or "Turner and Hooch Strikes Back"...

DaddyHalbucks 01-30-2008 08:54 AM

When will they release the cause of death?

Spyce 01-30-2008 09:09 AM

I'm going to go with the drug and alcohol theory... or maybe it was Mary Kate - have you seen the pics of her lately, she looks crazed! Just kidding... still going with the drug theory :-)

No illegal drugs were found and nothing has ever been said about booze.
He had pneumonia and that will probably be a factor when all is said an done. it can kill. Hell 49 year old Christian Brando died of it this week.

You do know that Christian Brando had drug and alcohol problems too, right?

So? he died from pneumonia. Ike Turner had drugs problems lived to be 76. Listen my dad almost died of pneumonia when he was 30 and he didn't have problems with drugs or booze.

here's the deal. Heath had pneumonia and he also couldn't sleep so he had sleeping pills. Like most people they tend to take too many in hopes of getting faster results. That extra dosage probably slowed his breathing way down. Normally probably wouldn't be a problem. Except he has decreased lung capacity because of the pneumonia. this caused him to eventually to stop breathing or filled his lungs with fluid which resulted in his death.

quote my post in a few weeks when the official report comes out.

Odie 01-30-2008 12:55 PM

why do people constantly keep denying the guy did hard drugs?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,326668,00.html

He was refused seeing his kids because he was hooked on heroin and cocaine. And the mother wouldnt let him see kids because he refused to be drug tested.

Quote:

Heath Ledger's abuse of heroin, cocaine and pills forced his ex-fiancee Michelle Williams to drive him to rehab in 2006, but he didn't want to go, Us Weekly reports.

For three years, Williams was a firsthand witness to the actor's use of alcohol and drugs, including cocaine, heroin and "a variety of pills," a Ledger confidant reportedly told the magazine.

In March 2006 — when their daughter, Matilda, was only 5 months old — Williams drove Ledger to Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, Calif., the confidant reportedly told Us Weekly. Ledger refused to check in, instead swaying her with a pledge to clean up,
its not hard to figure out what happened.

Mr Bond is just jealous; he wishes HE could faux-fuck Jake Gyllenhaal. No person in his or her right mind could be ashamed of wanting Jake BAD!

Even though the initial autopsy results have proved inconclusive, pneumonia has been ruled out as the cause of Heath Ledger?s death.

Michael Baden, a prominent forensic pathologist not involved with the investigation, revealed that if the pneumonia had been the cause of the 28-year-old Australian actor?s death, it would have been evident in Wednesday?s initial results, given that it is ?readily identifiable at the time of autopsy, because the lungs, instead of being filled with air, are filled with fluid, and we die from pneumonia because we can?t breathe,? he told People.com.

He adds: ?I would assume under the circumstances that if he?d die of pneumonia that would be clearly stated, because of concerns from the family.?

As for the meaning of ?inconclusive,? Baden said, ?My interpretation means they didn?t find a proper cause of death. That kind of rules out the natural causes, such as a brain hemorrhage, pneumonia or a cardiac abnormality that is common in that age group. That leaves drug overdose as the most likely cause of death.?

if he had died from pneomonia, it would have been easily identified with his lungs being filled with fluid.

That's an interesting concept to ponder, that having too many choices is like having none. :upsidedow

Um they need to do the toxicology to make sure the drugs didnt play a part. It's called a COMPLETE report. LEARN

Yes a link from FAUXnews.com. Got anything RELIABLE?

Mr Bond 01-30-2008 02:51 PM

I honestly think he died from accidental overdose. I'm a regular drug user ... and life gets heavy sometimes...

However... You STILL Have to WATCH WHAT YOUR DOING (on drugs that are Legal or Not).

Actually I think it's easier to OD on legal drugs because on Illegal drugs I was always on a higher state of alert on dosage.

Now, with my daily legal meds... I find it is WAY easier to get in the habit because it IS legal... and can sit around the house at arm's length. A daily habit can easily turn deadly in this situation.

Chances are it was an accidental overdose.

Actually I think I'll have a Hand Full Right Now ROFL.

But seriously, I'm a pretty moderate user. I use Mostly on weekends because some of these meds effect my mental abilities and I can't work. So, during the week I keep dosages low or limited to meds that do not effect mental functions.

But, I'm different from most people in that I don't really get Addicted to things... and I don't use/abuse drugs to Run Away from my Work or my Problems.

FUCK - You an Abuse cold medicine if you want to.

One time we smoked Niquil from a glass bong.
