Ibill says both Visa and Mastercard have this new policy
 

I contacted Ibill today after recieving the joint notification from ccbill and they said that this registration fee will be charged by both Visa and Mastercard, so we are looking at $1500.00 up front and $750.00 in annual registration charges if we want to use both credit cards on our sites.

Interesting. I just asked a CCBill rep and heard Visa only at the moment. Of course that could change, I'm sure when MC sees the money rolling in to Visa, they will find some way to copy them.

Can anyone confirm the MC fee? I don't see that anywhere else...

I knew mastercard wouldn't sit by and let visa make all that cash and do nothing.

I'll pay it...but this FOR SURE will knock a lot of people out of the game.

i dont think MC will stay inactive on this = soon or lately (if not tommorow) they'll ask fees too

MasterCard will most certainly follow suit. They charge it for merchants that get their own merchants accounts so they will do it for this situation also. They just keep milking!

Dont believe anything Ibill tells you. I swear to god if you call them 5 times you will get 5 different answers.
