can I get away without reformating?

Changing the motherboard ,cpu and video card. Can I get away without reformating? I got a bunch of plugins from fred miranda and vasst. That I cant remember if I burned them to cd.So if I want them again I will have to buy them again. Want to save the expense if possible.

Yes there is a way to do it with running the windows repair

Usually goes smoothly but can cause some problems when moving between 'generations' of cpus (i.e. from single core processors to quad-core). But it's not really possible to predict it all before you try it out, so just keep your fingers crossed :)

Yes just add your hard drive to it, and there are software's that will fix any problem on the hard drive.

We have had the same experience. The OS will *usually* figure it out. We went from 2K to XP, from a single core to a dual core with no real problems.
