my HUGE problem with 12 clicks

Ron, how the fuck can you call yourself a "wine lover"?
I checked your cellar on Cellartracker.com and...
few cases of "prize wines" with
ZERO wines of substance and unknown to wine critics running ahead of the lemmings
99% cabs which will bore you to death in the next few years as you grow older

Where is the fuck your imagination? Zest for new discoveries? I am very disapointed.

shit, I haven't updated that in a year or two. and please don't lord your fasination for unknown (code word for cheap) wines over me. :winkwink:

I have some obscure favorites you'd like.
henri bonneau, sine qua non, coutet's reappearing madame

ADL Colin 01-28-2008 07:07 AM

The wine in my house is for getting women of questionable morals into a state of
unquestionable morality. We D'Elias are a simple folk.

kmanrox 01-28-2008 07:09 AM

this reminds of me the half case of opus one in the mini-cellar.. unfort im drinking beer right now, shrug

bobby666 01-28-2008 07:10 AM

L-Pink 01-28-2008 07:11 AM

You have ZERO Burgs and less than zero cru Beaujolais.
I don't recall any whites besides the Ports.

I forgive folks lots of things but "Wine Tunnel Vission Syndrome" is a major charecter flaw!

Opus One is one of the overpriced and least interesting wines for the masses I ever put my eyes on.

don't hate me for having different tastes than you.
I used to love bordeaux, now I love Grange, still love cabs. whites don't thrill me. too many misses in rhone.

I'm actually in the process of rotating some of my inventory. I want to dump a case of '86 margaux and see about turning it into a couple cases of grange.

I don't hate anybody at the moment, and I applaud different tastes.
Anyway, as long as you are not chained to "points" or
"Expensive wines taste better", as one of the Californian research had proved,
it's OK by me.

go find a bottle of '02 Gibson shiraz. decant it for exactly 40 minutes.
the caramel nose and taste will bowl you over.
$40.00 wine. one of my favorites.

I am over Shiraz and even Syrah, at my age one gets to appreciate more refined grapes and wine styles.

I'm looking around. I have never tried to sell before. I generally don't do it but I think I won't enjoy it enough to drink so I'll let someone else enjoy it.
