Anderson Cooper played that on his show the other night and the other reporter on with him freaked out.

He claimed it was fake, though. Supposedly the guy is known for staging stuff like that.

Didn't to me, either. The girl reading the news was flipping out and he told her not to worry because it was likely not real. He mentioned something about him or his staff doing some research and being told the guy did stuff like that. May have just been saying that so people wouldn't write in and bitch, though.

I've heard it was fake too. But there's a lot of false shit on the net, so who knows.

I knew it was on Friday so I looked at the transcripts and this is what he said (to Erica Hill):




COOPER: Now our "Shot of the Day." We found it on YouTube. This newsman reporting on a local infestation of the Canadian brown finch. Watch what happens.
